Ovation Wireless Management is privileged to have a powerhouse team of seasoned industry veterans that bring unmatched experience to work on behalf of each customer. We bring a hands-on approach to managing wireless for businesses of all sizes.
Our wireless project experience includes working with the nation's top banks, construction companies, hospitals, trucking companies, law firms, NASCAR teams, NBA & NFL teams, state and local government, manufacturing firms and almost all categories of wireless users in the commercial sector.
Our ownership team and advisory board are made up entirely of wireless carrier veterans, all previously in senior management positions. We were directors, GM's, VP's and Sr VP's of some of the nations largest carriers. Our advisory board consists of wireless carrier professionals representing over 200 years of additional industry and wireless technology expertise.
Rex Greer
Rex started his wireless career in 1992 with ALLTEL. He served as manager for every sales distribution channel within ALLTEL including Direct, Indirect, CLEC, ILEC, and Major Account sales. He worked with many companies of various size and scope, including several within the Fortune 500. His background includes extensive B2B solutions-based selling of wireless, paging, long distance, internet, land-line (both CLEC and ILEC services), and customer premise equipment. He has practical front-line experience in dealing with most of the challenges facing companies today regarding their total communications needs. In addition to his extensive sales experience, Rex also managed and operated the Key Account Care Group which served as the main sales and support center for enterprise customers. Having helped form policies, procedures, retention programs, and rate plan strategies with a major wireless service provider, he understands why many companies are seeking help from unbiased, outside sources for wireless expense reduction and control.

Randall Light
Randall began in the wireless industry in 1985 with Motorola C&E, then in 1987 he helped ALLTEL Mobile build their Carolina's market as General Manager and Area Manager until 1996. During his ALLTEL tenure Randall was responsible for all facets of the regional carrier operations including Network, Customer Care, all Sales disciplines, HR and marketing. As a founding member of the carrier alliance Carolina Cellular Network, he helped build the wireless coverage and service alliances in the Carolinas. In 1996 he led two companies in the oil markets sector where he was VP of Sales and Marketing as well as a director on their board. During his oil industry career he was elected to the national board of directors of the supplier and oil marketer organization SIGMA, as well as chair of a national marketer committee for Citgo Petroleum.
In 2001 he was recruited to become Vice President and General Manager of TeleCorp PCS which ultimately became AT&T Wireless. In this position he had market development responsibilities for parts of Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi. While there he continued the market build out for the region and had full Operations, Sales, Marketing, Engineering/Network, Care and HR under his supervision. Randall's extensive experience all facets of the wireless business plays a major role in assisting OVATION Wireless Management's customers gain control of their wireless costs and assets.
Lee Newman
Lee began his wireless career in 1989 with ALLTEL Mobile where he spent 7 years launching and operating their Carolina and Georgia wireless markets as Market Manager and General Manager. He then returned to Charlotte and spent three years developing ALLTEL's CLEC operations as Vice President of Business Sales. His responsibilities included management for ALLTEL's top 50 business accounts and the marketing of ALLTEL's full suite of converged communications products. In 1999 he was recruited to launch the Louisville and western Kentucky markets for SunCom, an AT&T Wireless affiliate, where he managed all distribution channels as Area Vice President. Lee left SunCom in 2001 where he operated his own wireless consulting business to help companies manage and control their overall wireless expenses. Late in 2002 he returned to North Carolina to help launch Ovation as a member of the executive management team.
